Teams

Arrived at the Genin row, the ninjas are seen distributed in small group of 3 conduits by a tested ninja of Juunin row. At this point in time the training ninja really starts and the beginning of the emotional ties between ninja grow hollow. It is a paramount stage which is very often the primary education factor with the creation of the true way of the ninja!

Team Shodaime - Nidaime

Sensei: Shodaime, Nidaime
Pupils: Homura, Koharu and Sarutobi
Leader: Sarutobi
Village: Konoha
It is the oldest team which is known until now. This team is directed by Shodaime and Nidaime, their pupils are Homura, Koharu and Sarutobi. The members of this team are all the wise ones and valorous ninjas which found their place in the council of Konoha for Homura and Koharu, and on the seat of Hokage for Sarutobi.

Team Sandaime

Sensei: Sandaime
Pupils: Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Tsunade
Leader: Orochimaru
Village: Konoha
It is the team which was most powerful of all the history of Konoha, it is composed of three powerful ninjas of which Kunoichi: Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Tsunade. These are the three ninjas which were appellés later the “Three Sannins Légendaires”. The relation between Jiraiya and Orochimaru strongly points out that between Naruto and Sasuke.

Team Orochimaru

Sensei: Orochimaru
Pupils: Anko
Village: Konoha
It is only and single the true pupil of Orochimaru. It taught the majority of its techniques to him and also inflicted to him the cursed seal. Since, Anko hates and fears Orochimaru very deeply.

Team Tsunade

Sensei: Tsunade
Pupils: Shizune
Village: Konoha
Tsunade only has the one pupil, just like Orochimaru. She teaches Shizune as a medical-nin, giving Shizune the majority of her medical techniques.

Team Jiraiya

Sensei: Jiraiya
Pupils: Yondaime and two other unknown
Leader: Yondaime
Village: Konoha
Contrary to both other Sannins, Jiraiya had three pupils, of which Yondaime which will be regarded as most powerful of all Hokage.

Team Yondaime

Sensei: Yondaime
Pupils: Kakashi, Obito, Rin
Leader: Kakashi
Village: Konoha
A team directed by famous Yondaime, comprising Kakashi, a model of rigour, Obito, awkward Uchiha, and Rin, a kunoichi doctor. This team appears during the saga Kakashi Gaiden.

Team Shikato (InoShikaCho trio)

Sensei: Unknown
Members: Homura, Koharu and Sarutobi
Leader: Sarutobi
Village: Konoha
The famous trio of Juunin, InoShikaCho. They are the parents of Ino, Shikamaru and Choji.

Konohamaru division

Sensei: Iruka (their professor with the academy) and Naruto
Pupils: Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi
Leader: Konohamaru
Village: Konoha
A group of student comrades to the academy formed by Konohamaru who are never left and liked “to play” ninja. Naruto is their model.

Team n°7

Sensei: Kakashi
Pupils: Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke
Leader: Sasuke
Village: Konoha
It is the principal team of the history, it is composed of the young receptacle of the demon fox: Naruto, the most unforeseeable ninja of the village, Sasuke, the survivor of the Uchiha clan, and Sakura, which is not used to tell the truth for nothing, as well as famous Hatake Kakashi, the ninja copier. There is a strong competition between Naruto and Sasuke, but which later will be transformed into a rather complex friendship.

Team n°8

Sensei: Kurenai
Pupils: Hinata, Kiba and Shino
Leader: Shino
Village: Konoha
Team neutral comprising good ninjas coming from 3 different clans, the Hyuuga clan, the Inuzuka clan and the Aburame clan. The agreement in this group is rather serene, with Kiba share which is caught for the leader! This team is directed by Kurenai.

Team n°10

Sensei: Asuma
Pupils: Shikamaru, Ino and Chôji
Leader: Shikamaru
Village: Konoha
Veiled rising generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho trio. Having for sensei Asuma, this team really does not seem to like the life of Ninja: Chôji which eats all the time, Ino which never fights and finally Shikamaru which would like to be free like the clouds, in spite of its intelligence: more than 200 of Q.I!

Team Merry

Sensei: Merry
Pupils: Neji, Lee Rock’n'roll and Tenten
Leader: Neji
Village: Konoha
Team specialized in Taijutsu and directed by Gai, composed of two rivals, Rock Lee and Neji. The favorite pupil of the Merry one is Lee, although exceptionally gifted Neji of the Hyuuga clan is present, just like Kakashi with Sasuke. But it is not all, Gai is also the rival eternal of Kakashi. This team is one year old by rappot with the other teams of genins of Konoha.

Team Baki

Sensei: Baki
Pupils: Gaara, Temari and Kankurô
Leader: Gaara
Village: Suna
A powerful team of Suna No kuni which leaves the ordinary one. Indeed, Gaara, the child-demon, east fears by all the members of the team: Temari, his/her sister, Kankurô, her brother, and even Baki, them sensei! At the enemies beginning of Konoha, they will become thereafter of invaluable allied, since they will save Shikamaru, Kiba and Lee in their engagements against the Four of the Sound.

Team Orochimaru (Chuunin Examination)

Sensei: Orochimaru (another appearance)
Pupils: Zaku, Dosu and Kin
Leader: Dosu
Village: Oto
Genins of Oto No kuni which would tend to do “every man for himself”, but the fact that they are on mission for Orochimaru, that they respect and fear, weld them. Nevertheless they seem accustomed to act together and support themselves. Even if they are ready with the sacrifice of the one of them for the good of the mission. The styles of engagements of the members of the team are very particular: Produced Dosu of the extremists sounds with his metal arm, Kin reaches the inner ear of its adversaries with its small bell, and Zaku causes gusts of wind thanks to openings in its palms. The attitude of Orochimaru towards them is far from being enviable for them: they are simple puppets; besides it will sacrifice Kin and Zaku for ressuciter Shodaime and Nidaime in its combat against Sandaime.

Team Kabuto (Chuunin Examination)

Sensei: Jounin not named (probably an underling of Orochimaru)
Pupils: Yakushi Kabuto, Akado Yoroi and Tsurugi Misumi
Leader: Yakushi Kabuto
Village: Konoha (Oto actually)
Ninjas of Oto No kuni being made pass for genins of Konoha during the Chuunin examination. Their sensei is Orochimaru, having taken another appearance. Their participation in the Chuunin examination consisted in fact to raise on charts of information on the various ninjas passing the examination. Kabuto meaning “helmet” (samuraï), Tsurugi “sword” and Yoroi “armour”, they form the trio “helmet-sword-armour”.

The brothers Demons

Sensei: None
Members: Gôzu and Meizu
Village: Kiri
Two chuunins of Kiri to the pay of Zabuza, charged to eliminate team 7 and Tazuna at the time of its mission to the countries from the Waves. Kakashi Sasuke will take care of them without difficulty. They fight by having each one in one of their hands a metal glove which holds the end of a poisoned cutting chain.

Duet Zabuza - Haku

Members: Zabuza and Haku
Leaders: Zabuza
Village: Kiri
Zabuza and Haku, Nukenins de Kiri No kuni, form a frightening duet. Indeed, their force lies above all in the bonds which link them. Besides Haku is entirely devoted to Zabuza and will give its life to save its Master of Chidori de Kakashi, bus Zabuza is that which had collected it, orphan, whereas it only wandered in Kiri. This is why Haku thinks that it owes him the life.
They will die finally coast at coast, on the Naruto bridge.

Team Shikamaru

Members: Choji, Kiba, Naruto, Neji and Shikamaru
Leader: Shikamaru
Village: Konoha
It is this team which will have the role of bringing back Sasuke, but on their way they will be confronted with dangerous adversaries with the pay of Orochimaru!

Team Shikamaru

Members: Kimimaro, Tayuya, Sakon/Ukon, Kidoumaru and Jiroubou
Leader: Kimimaro
Village: Oto
Terribly powerful team and without-thank you, under the cut of Orochimaru. Although being chuunins, they succeed in holding head in certain Anbus de Konoha at the time of the attack of the village of the Sheet by Oto No kuni. They carry all the seal of Orochimaru. Their mission consisted in capturing Sasuke, coveted by Orochimaru for its Sharingan. While returning in Oto with the Uchiha young person, they are caught up with by the Shikamaru team in the forest, giving place to 5 terrible duels. The genins helped by the genins of Suna will be right finally of them, but not without evil (all except for Shikamaru will finish at the hospital, in critical states).

Attention, the following teams correspond to season 2 of the manga. The continuation of the file thus contains spoilers, not to traverse if you did not read season 2 of the manga!

Team Kakashi (season 2)

Sensei: None
Members: Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura
Leader: Kakashi
Village: Konoha
This team is made up to carry help in Suna No kuni, attacked by Deidara and Sasori, members of Akatsuki. They have the role of saving Gaara, the Kazekage young person, and for that will be accompanied by Chiyo Baa (”Oba chan”), the grandmother of Sasori. The vacuum caused by the absence of Sasuke will be felt terribly.

Team Yamato

Sensei: None
Members: Yamato, Naruto, Sakura and Saï
Leader: Yamato
Village: Konoha
It is the altered Kakashi team. Their mission is to discover the spy of Akatsuki infiltrated at Orochimaru and to capture it to bring back it to Konoha. Their secondary objective is to obtain information on Orochimaru and Sasuke. The mission is a failure. The aversion of Naruto for Saï was the cause, at the beginning, of an execrable environment within the team. But finally, helped by Sakura, it succeeds in making change radically the ninja of “”, making them a really welded team.
